So on a salary bill of £9m she believes she can save £8.8m!

Maybe what is more amazing is how the Conservative membership is sucking all this up without questioning.

Liz Truss’s campaign to become Conservative leader has suffered its first major setback after she U-turned on proposals to vary public sector pay by region.

I'm wondering if it's a plan to keep changing back and forth so nobody knows where they stand and Party members can chose the version they more want to hear (whilst other Party members chose a different version to believe) and if elected they can do anything as at some point in their campaign they declared they'd be doing that ...
