What are cycling conditions like in Milton Keynes and Welwyn Garden City?

I’m not totally sure - from what I can discern they might be solely CMK<> Bletchley (yellow one way, green the other) by one particular route, maybe the start of a wider scheme that was then abandoned.

You may well be right, but we certainly have them on the main route Wolverton/CMK too. I don`t use it very often, as it parallels busy grid roads, preferring a potter through the park instead.

Ah, hadn’t noticed that. Was up that way this morning and didn’t see any, but the Redways are getting quite covered with leaves now, so maybe I wouldn’t ….. which illustrates why arrows on the ground aren’t necessarily the answer.

This is actually on the way to Winslow, so an unsurfaced byway rather than a Redway, but it’s typical.

So, yellow to city centre? What's the green pointing to?

In that case Wolverton, but south of CMK it seems to be Bletchley.
