GPS tracker

I've been using one of these Mobile Action/i-gotU GPS trackers on the bike for the last eleven years. I got it from Maplin's for about £30. It's been very reliable, with plenty of storage and a great battery life but recently, it's been acting erratically, giving strange tracks, especially when still. See image: these long zigzag lines are when it wasn't moving.
An internet search didn't find anything similar, but I did find plenty for cheating wives, pets and ones to track dementia sufferers.
Anybody know of anything similar?

Those starbursts are from poor gps signal, usually in forests or in amongst tall buildings, and even a bike parked up against a wall, the poor signal making the device think it's moving when it isn't. Have you moved the tracker from a good sky view to a poorer sky view? Say top of rucksack to bottom of bag with tinfoiled sandwiches on top? Doesn't happen as much with newer devices as they track more satellites than older devices could.

No. This was in open ground with no trees. I usually keep it on top of my rear rack.
