Sorry sorry. I'm sure there are likely countless threads like this, or you will all say 'get a road bike, you muppet!'

I'm after a spin bike, however am budgeting around £300. Any recommendations? Or will they all be useless dog s*** at that price?

What do you call a spin bike?
Something you 'll find in a sports school?
Yerars ago I bought a Tomahawk professional Spinning bike for 25€.
Frame had a few rust spots, easy to repair and I changed the flywheel bearings (10€ both), so the total cost was app. 35€
A Smart Trainer is a different dog though...

I considered buying one for my wife, but most Decathlon stores don't have them in stock, and my local Leeds store was not willing to get hold of one for me to look at. I would not consider buying it 'blind'. I believe one or two of the biggest stores stock them - maybe worth enquiring?
