Received these as a gift recently in black and I am well impressed with them. A cross between a clipless and flat pedal shoe which are great for cyclists who want the look of a clipless shoe without the hassle of clipping in and out.

How do they work then? Surely you have to fit cleats if you want to use 'clipless' pedals, and IME that sole would be hopeless for pulling the foot out of clips and straps. So only compatible with one kind of pedal at any one time?

Basically they are cycling Shoes without the cleats which are ideal for people who want the look of cycling shoes without the hassle of clipping in and out. I use them for Mountain biking and they are ideal and use them sometimes on the road. They are just another option for cyclists.
