Trangia have been working on improving the simmer ring it appears......

thanks though seems to be keeping this 70-years-in-the-making breakthrough to himself for now.

The Alpkit mini thing of course has a handle.

have been thinking of fashioning a clip-in thing for myself from a bit of old wire.

I suspect the improvement will partly involve being able to park the control beside the burner when at full power mode, rather than inconveniently needing to remove it completely (when its hot...). I have now made and tried the the modified sliding regulator ideas (including an even simpler slide only one for the 27) I mentioned upthread....I wonder what approach Trangia will take ....?
