I've been using a phone and Osmand to navigate for years but now the phone is getting old the battery doesn't last so I'm considering getting one of the above.
I've been online to find out if it's possible to reverse a gpx route?
There seems to be some uncertainty over this. I can do it easily on the phone, it faithfully follows the route back, even telling me to go the wrong way down one way streets!
Does the Garmin do this (not the one way streets) or does it take you back to the start but not necessarily following the same route?
Garmin Edge 530
Re: Garmin Edge 530
On similar Garmins that we have discussed we haven't identified a built-in reverse or retrace function.
The built-in route finder will find a route but it won't necessarily be the reverse, as you say.
You can reverse the route in other software in advance, and load that just in case.

That's what I thought. Shame as it's not always possible to plan ahead and I don't always have something like Cycle Travel available to make the change.
It may put me off buying one, but first I'll see what else it lacks against the phone.
Thanks
