Is this a fair price ?

Post by MrChris2585 »

Selling my Cube Travel Hybrid a 2019 model, well looked after from new by myself, frame etc is unmarked and I'm wondering am I asking too much at 500 ono? Got it on gumtree and Facebook market place and only getting low offers but I'm wondering if I'm asking too much tbh, I'm reluctant to sell but after having two operations last year saddles put pressure on scarring which causes discomfort for weeks, I even upgraded to an ism touring saddle which isn't much better, so I'm looking at getting into a dirt jumper or big bmx to make use of the mountain bike and dirt bmx track in the woods near me and not have to sit in the saddle for long periods , don't want to give up cycling completely though as its a big part of my cardio fitness, ad link on here below. Cheers in advance for any advice,

Thanks

Chris

How much was it new?
Used bikes always go for less that you (well I) think they are worth, not that you want to hear that!

I paid £750 new, albeit I got it on special and used my blue light discount, they seem more expensive now

Do you still have the original saddle?

I'd put that back on tbh as the ism is a bit specific.

Sorry to say unless they want that particular model people often think I could get a new hybrid for that money....

I would cut price.
I suspect that the adjustment was a reduction
