I wipe the inside of the fly sheet with a travel towel before I take my tent down. If it's a cold night without wind the inner will get absolutely soaked from the outer if I pack it away un wiped. I shake it after to dislodge water on the outside of the fly.

This is why when away I tend to pack the inner and outer separately - otherwise I reckon I would transfer moisture when rolling up. Am generally happy to use inner erecting first tents - never been a great problem for me.
