Has anyone managed to use the ticket on the NS rail network recently?

Seat 61 suggests that it's still non-operational (for reasons to do with NS, not Stena Line) -- see the 'Important Update' about 3 parags down this page: https://www.seat61.com/trains-and-route ... -ferry.htm

I've recently had a (private) email conversation with the Man in Seat 61 about this.st599_uk wrote:... no longer seems to cover the Rail bit in the Netherlands.

He understands that this is a hang-over from Covid restrictions and is quietly hopeful that NS will revert back to the previous situation. There is no timetable.
The situation is slightly complicated by the tram being municipal Rotterdam and separate to NS.
Of course, the cynical among us will say that NS are perfectly happy to let the current situation fester as its costing them nothing to do so, and may result in an income gain.
I'm off to Ostend next week (not cycling) via Hoek and have a rail ticket from Scheidam. The price of the tram is not exorbitant - I'll get a ticket when I get there.
