Some, myself included, have speculated that this had little to do with cycling and a run-of-the-mill (if such a thing exists) RTA.

More likely some gang related incident.

That was my thought as soon as I read it. Definitely one where there is more to it than meets the eye.

Probably a drug deal/drop went wrong. Bicycles have all sorts of ulterior uses!

Unfortunately, the msm always label them 'cyclists'.This just fuels the haters.

It's unfair to tar all cyclists with the same brush, much as it is to do the same to all motorists. Which makes one wonder why do cyclists hey such a bad press?

Although cyclists seem to be at the top of the ‘hate list’, caravans, horses & tractors come in for some flack too. You never hear motorists complaining that horse riders “don’t pay road tax”!
