This might seem a bit draconian but when I see this sort of driving I just want the police to take them into an interrogation room and find out just exactly what they were thinking, how quickly they processed those thoughts and why they decided on that course of action......
....Followed by several weeks of old fashioned loony-bin chemical and electro therapies and free accommodation in a padded hotel.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

On the plus side they were going quite slowly and didn't just swerve hard left on the appearance of the oncoming car. I almost wish cars drove around like that all of the time, rather than having a lot of the other incidents we see and hear about.

Yup that's happened to me about half a dozen times, though my favourites are the cars that try to overtake me before a pinch point and end up parked in the middle of the road facing a traffic island and unable to join the stream of traffic passing them on the left

The 'most brain dead' award goes to the other half a dozen who have chosen to make a 'safe' overtake on a blind bend by passing me very slowly whilst leaning over to try and see around the bend - it would be funny if it wasn't such lunacy.

Yesterday it was an overtake at a junction (road joining on the right) with the car coming out of the junction having to drive up a grass verge to avoid a collision.

I see this sort of idiocy all the time, drivers overtaking coming into a blind bend when they can't possibly see, the vast majority of the time chance has it there is nothing coming the other way.

Although the video was very funny, if there had not been a good careful driver coming the other way, and instead some clown doing 60+, it doesn't bear thinking about, head on with the cyclist.

On a ride today.
Completely uneventful until the last mile.

Event 1.
Crossing from Devon back into Cornwall over Newbridge - that gets narrower and narrower as you get to the Cornwall end. Single lane all the way across
White Van behind me trying to overtake.
I heard him and saw him in my mirror, so i moved right to the centre to stop him.
The parapet is low, and if he'd hit me, I'd have been off into the river!

Event 2.
Lady in a car coming out of Tamar Way onto Under Rd, and turning left without even slowing down.
She didn't even look right ......... where I was whizzing along.
I screamed loudly, and she didn't half look shocked, and slammed on her anchors!
She apologised profusely as I missed her by inches.
