Waterproof Rear Light

Post by Jim77 »

Hi all

Can anyone recommend a waterproof rear light? My Cateye Rapid x3 has given up on me, so need to replace it.

I already have an Exposure Tracer, but want a secondary rear light that preferably can be attached to rear frame by wheel.

Thanks in advance.

Much more handy I reckon is the older Exposure Flare. Has removable battery so no scope for ot charging.Othewise why not another Exposure Tracer? Perfect for what you want.

That is a good point, to be fair, about getting another Exposire Tracer - it has been super reliable. And had it about 6 years. I just wanted something that was like the Rapid that fitted snugly against the frame.

I run a Cateye Viz 450 and a Viz 150 as my backup, both seem really good. The 450 is super bright and the 150 can also hold its own. They have a nice low battery mode which is still really bright and gives you plenty of warning/time to recharge at some point.
