Where are these supposed cycling types seen, then? Not come across any of them in, oh, decades and decades of cycling. Perhaps they only exist in Youboob land, where every little thing is exaggerated with a Great Big Exaggeration Amplitude Knob, often applied to the Made-Up-Stuff product that somehow gets in to, then out of, the cameras.
If one is unwise enough to bring up the Youboob frontpage on the computer screen, there's a series of clipped images of various animated boobers included, most of whom seem to be doing a Vast Gurn and a Big Point with a Finger at summick. The boobfest may be a barometer of the degree of infantilism within a society, perhaps? Or is it one of the causes?
I mean - there's childlike and then there's childish, eh?

I just wish I hadn't watched that - now the youtube algorithm is going to start recommending more gurning youtubers rather than my usual fare of videos of weird and interesting folk renovating rusty things.
