CYCLING UK Survey

CYCLING UK Survey

Have you received this survey?

IMHO these surveys presume certain answers, questions One I had to answer, but none of the feelings expressed did not tally with my views. What do others think, am I the odd one out?

Future Strategy - member input

Post by cpedw »

I just received an email inviting me to fill in a questionnaire on future strategy. Question 1 (an answer is required) says:
1.Which of these words do you associate with Cycling UK? Select all that apply.
Friendly
Established
Effective
Expert
Pioneering
Outspoken
Relevant now
Supportive
Trustworthy
Compassionate

Since I don't associate any of these with CUK, I can't continue with the questionnaire. My first response would be Fuddyduddy if it was available. How can I proceed?

Just completed it. Quick and easy. Glad it's happening.

I don't like "Pick 3" and prefer being able to respond to all of the options.

But that's for "further thoughts on Cycling UK's future priorities" not how limited the options in Q1 - current feeling about CUK. - are.

Yes, Q1 should have a "None of these" box.

After that I soon decided I couldn't be bothered with the rest.

Just write them an email explaining how rubbish you think they are.

You'll feel better!

It's a members survey, I think the presumption is if you have absolutely nothing positive to say you wouldn't bother being a member.

I suggest that a poor assumption.

Indeed - this thead (and many before it) serve as a reminder of how many people will join a club just for the pleasure of moaning about it!

Philip:
May I suggest that if you truly claim to not view CUK as "Established", you must have had some good hypno-therapy to reach your current state.

I reckon 7 years is not long enough to be well established. I can boast 10 times that and I'm still a bit shoogly.

Nosey
It's the first username I ever had, allocated at work a long time ago. It's deeply ingrained so I use it wherever it's allowed.

So you can remember all that, but can't remember CTC existing?
