Trangia triangle template

I cannot find a Trangia triangle template online. I want to have a go at making my own with some variations (to make it more stable), not start a Trangia knock-off cottage industry. I would appreciate any help, a link to a template online or an outline drawing of your own triangle with measurements.

Thanks

Can I ask what one is?

If you want stability, moving the pan supports to the apices of the triangle looks a good bet.

If you already have one, can you not use that as a template?

Axel_Knutt, I don't have one, that's why I'm looking for a template. Moving the pan supports to the corners, that's exactly what I have in mind.

I'd make it a little larger -- the pan supports are in the middle for good reason -- if they were at the joints ( corners ) the thing would be more unstable since any imbalance of weight will tend to move the joint at that point.

There's a small diagram for a clikstand (of which the Trangia triangle is a ripoff copy) here:
https://clikstand.com/specs_clikstands/

Worth noting is the windshield support on the outside, which the TT doesn't have.

I was recommended this for alcohol stoves and associated paraphernalia.

Good point. I have thought of making it a big larger also. Moving the supports to the corners is an option only if I make two supports at each corner, on either side of the joint. There should be no imbalance is weight is carried by both ends of each plate.

I had also seen this design with the windshield, but for some reason I thought that the stand itself would be enough of a windshield for the burner within. Unless in extreme weather, and then I would resort to the fully fledged Trangia setup.

The clickstand is easier to make though, the burner support is cut out of a sheet of metal, rather than welded rods.

Meths is a comparatively low power fuel, and you can't just turn up the flame like you would with petrol or gas, so protection from the wind is important, especially if you don't like cooking inside the tent porch.
The Triangle is better than a mini-Trangia, but with a Clikstand-style shield it would be closer to a 25 or 27.

Different people can come up with the same-ish idea independently.
