Hi,
Thinking of a leisurely bike pack on the Bay Cycle route. Anyone know of
1. Reasonable safe parking near Glasson Docks
2. Camp sites near start and end and about halfway.
Cheers

You've got a 0% record of acknowledging any of the help people have given you over the years, but one of the threads you started was about safe parking, and it generated a few replies, including a suggested website. Maybe have a look back at that first and let us know if you still need suggestions on parking locations.welshpaddler wrote: ↑12 Mar 2023, 9:33pm Hi,

Re: Bay cycle route
Ok, it's not strictly bikepacking but I can recommend the Travelodge at Barrow-in-Furness as a base for doing the Bay Cycle Way. It's fairly cheap, nice and quiet, free parking and about 15 minutes' ride from the start of the BCW at Walney Island. Also, Barrow is easy to reach by train from Grange-over-Sands, Carnforth, Morecambe or Lancaster depending on where you finish the ride each day.
Re: Bay cycle route
I took two days over the Bay ride and based myself near Grange. It worked really well.
1. Train to Barrow cycled back to Grange.
2 cycled from Grange and train back to Grange.
