How much Zinc?

I've been trying to make sense of Zinc supplementation.
As far as I can ascertain the daily recommended dose is 11mg - most of the Zinc supplements on offer start at 15mg - there must be some Zinc in a normal diet.
Anyone have anything definitive on this ?

Screenshot and no link because screen reader users don't deserve to know, you don't think about them, or what?

This is the
DAPA toolkit from NIHR where the NHS 9.5mg RNI figure comes from.
This is the
online interactive database from the EFSA which has upper limits as well as recommended intake, and they're surprisingly close, with only about a 2:1 difference, and the recommended level also depends on phytate(?) intake.
My diet already contains 17mg, so your supplement would put me over the EFSA upper limit unless my phytate level was low. Two thirds of my dietary zinc comes from just half a dozen items: brown bread, cereal, milk, brown rice, liver & beef.

As far as I can tell, the only person being deliberately offensive is you.
