Birchwood to Salford Manchester

Anyone know of a trail from birchwood Warrington to Salford Manchester? Like many I'd like my fitness level back.

You would be better going to Altrincham on the trans pennine trail or if you want to go to Salford the canal from Wigan would take you pretty near to Salford, or the cycle track next to the guided busway from Leigh is another option.

There is a little track from M62 J11, down towards Hollins Green, from there a variety of cycle tracks take you towards Eccles and onto Salford, or over the bridge, there is a track then beside the ship canal to Partington.
