Please provide details of these "others" (not just the Independent journalist who wrote that article).
I was referring to that.
If that one very short news article is the only source you had for the claim, why, when 853 commented that it was one newspaper, did you reply

Because at that point, I was not aware of(and tbh found it hard to conceive of) anyone else sharing their opinion.

Whereas we now have, to my genuine astonishment, two of you.

You presumably became aware of Epstein's comments when you read the Independent article. When 853 pointed out that it was one newspaper journalist's interpretation, did you make no attempt to find other instances of journalists etc. similarly interpreting the remarks?

Your presumption is incorrect

Where did you first read Epstein's comments then?

It was just something I noticed incidentally, alas I didn't keep contemporaneous notes for posterity. Feel free to search bluesky.

Am loving the interrogation BTW, hope you are too.

I would have thought that you could find the link in your browser history, but never mind.

My main concern was your comment "I shall leave you to your singular and unique interpretion, entirely at odds to anyone else's". In future, please do not use rhetoric like that.

In future, please don't engage in interrogation.

"The EU’s doubts as to whether future UK governments would abide by the terms of any “reset” agreement are reflected in the so-called ‘Farage clause’. First reported by The Guardian, this clause is intended to require financial compensation in the event that the UK reneges on its commitments – a scenario already anticipated by the leader of Reform UK".

Can we just rejoin, please? I'm quite fed up with having to stay in The UK for so long at one time, when I could be drinking (half decent) red wine at 90p a bottle.

My interpretation is just that, the same as Roubaix's.
( and goodness know we don't always see things the same way! )

Well perhaps you can explain your interpretation that Peter Thiel was supporting Brexit from this then
roubaixtuesday wrote: 3 Feb 2026, 7:17am Turns out that Jeffrey Epstein and Peter Thiel were supporting Brexit. In stark terms.

Who'da thunk.
