Vuelta Femenina

Post by pjclinch »

What a cracking race that was last week, from start to a real nail-biter of a finish.
If you didn't see it but can still find highlights do seek them out.

Only criticism is the usual frustration of the coverage not starting until well in to a stage, but that's hardly the fault of the racers. Meanwhile we'll still get whole "transition stages" where the first 220 km is a "what can we talk about now?" challenge for the commentators if they happen to be in the men's tours.

Pete.

I also thought it was great (though share your frustration at not seeing a bit more of the earlier parts of each stage). And what an edge-of-the-seat conclusion! (Not to mention a whole load of scores to be settled at the Tour de France Femmes :D )

Excellent race and good to see the top riders on form.
