Starter for ten,
Am I going to get wet on my 25 mile trip home from Nottingham and will I still be able to do the evening 10 in a semi decent time?

It's quite sunny at the moment but the roads are a bit wet.

It's not sunny here
Yesterday it waited until 5 then absolutely hammered it down, both rain and large hailstones (it is August isn't it?)
I stayed in work until 6 in the hope of avoiding it, gave up waiting, put my waterproofs on and then as soon as I got outside it stopped.
Didn't want to risk removing the waterproofs, so enjoyed a lovely sauna on the way home.

Waterproofs, what are they.
My skins waterproof so that will do me.

As I say to Mrs.Wildduck when she wants a lift home instead of walking in the rain,
"What's the matter? Haven't you got two feet and waterproof skin?"

Thats the answer I get from the treasurer who is masquerading as my wife.

He was nice today and gave me a lift but I think it was only because he was heading to the gym!

25 mile trip from Nottingham? I wonder if you were Grantham way? I was in that area at around 1800 (in the car). I thought of you. Utterly soaked in the extended deluge. But hopefully not struck by the lightning?!
All the best

he drives to a gym?

So why ask the original question?
