Best thing ever!
I had a damaged medial meniscus tidied up 20 years ago, maybe.
Take it slowly, don’t risk going too hard too soon and yours can last as long as mine.
Don’t risk exercising with a swollen knee; looking back I think that’s what damaged me, and it’s not talked about enough!

I'm assuming NHS .......how long was the wait, and if private, what was the cost, if you don't mind me asking?

Private
I have insurance through company plan ,around £25 a month family plan classed as a taxable benefit.
Mrs had a bigger op including 2 night stay and if I had to pay it would have been close to £8 k

Thanks! Useful to have a ball park figure as I'm going to need the same sooner rather than later :(
