Now we have something / quite-a-lot to discuss and celebrate.

So basically it’s Jumbo Visma for everything this year! Im definitely hoping that Sep Kuss wins the Vuelta- I see lots of arguments why not but if nothing else it might be easier than either Roglic or Vingegaard winning 2 grand tours for the balance of the team.

I keep mis-calling this wonderful team Jumbo-Plasma. Can't imagine why my memory makes such a link with "blood".
As Mr Kelly sometimes terms individual performances, so many, so many times, in one team smacks (sic) of the "unbelievable" to this cynic.

I was thinking when Kuss first took the lead that it may have been easier for him to defend the lead, rather than his team trying to beat Evenepoel with Roglic or Vingegaard, who were both behind him I think at the time, now with Evenepoel gone, it seems less likely Kuss will win, as his team don't have to defend his position as much. It's one thing letting a teammate take a stage win to thank them for all their help but I doubt his teammates will be so willing to not challenge him for a grand tour win.

Yep, not impressed with the JV duo challenging Kuss. Unnecessary and unpleasant tbh.

Have they challenged his overall lead? I think they could both be ahead on GC if they really wanted to.

(But I probably shouldn't disagree with the Eire duo - Orla and Sean, I mean!)

She's (currently) doing both jobs.

I think you’re right but Sep is very strong and they put him up the road in a breakaway - that lead to him being in red so I think from that point they suck it’s up and support him. If he had cracked at some point so be it but he didn’t (and being third over the line up the Angliru is not cracking!) so not ok to attack him.

Wow, an end-of-grand-tour crit that was genuinely exciting for more the last few minutes!

That's been a good Vuelta, Chapeaux all round!
Often seen riding a bike around Dundee...

My wife and I both had the same thought, is it a pose or does she suffer from a bad back?
To be honest I find her presenting style hugely annoying. I'm sure others love her.
Can't complain really, I get to see highlights for free.

Nathan van Hooydonck retires with heart problem, which it appears may have contributed to his crash.

Very sad.

He's getting a lot of messages of support from rider and pundits. Clearly a popular guy, despite a (relatively) low profile.

Van aert wrote a particularly moving post. (A good man, IMHO.)
