Just to add that the weather looks perfect - please do come along! Directions to the event are here or just use satnav YO23 1EX.

Advance campsite bookings are now closed, but if you haven’t pre-booked you are still very welcome to just turn up and check in to the campsite on the day. Full prices and details are on the website.

And of course if you come just for the day, entry, rides and activities are completely free!

Due to age related medical problems of both me and my wife meant I could not commit to getting to York. I had hoped that a sudden change in circumstances would have allowed me to attend. However this was knocked on the head last night when Pauline was once again taken into hospital. So to all of the friends I see and everyone else attending, have a great weekend and hopefully see you next year.
There is your way. There is my way. But there is no "the way".

Spent the day at the Rally yesterday had a great day in the sunshine, cycling, chatting and browsing stuff i'd like but really don't need. Back to it's best! Well done to the organisers and all involved.

Big hats off to all those organising, marshalling or anything to make it happen, I enjoyed yesterday.
And a special thanks to whoever was in charge of arranging the weather

2nd-ed. I was only there for 30mins on Sat morning, then a few hours of drinking in the sun with weirdos I already knew, and new wierdos I was happy to meet. All through the "afterglow" of a 400k audax.

but it seemed remarkably civilised and well-run. Even (some of) the beer was good!

I should have posted this before, but the Rally this year was wonderful. Lot of things to do and see: especially enjoyed the talk by Laura Massey - Pugh one half of the current tandem round the world team. And the grass track racing as well. But there was a great deal of other things as well. One of the best, of course, is just sitting around and chatting with other cycling enthusiasts.

Well done to the entirely volunteer organisers. Your months of preperation paid off, yet again.
