Had been using the Bothy near us
Yes there are bothies in Wales
I would rather bike than carry that load

Great beard spotting!
I am of course rather envious of them. Of all the places I have visited I have often thought Wales was the more interesting.... having toured the country a few times I really believe it offers more things to see per mile than some other places..
A varied coastline, a countryside bristling with mountains and castles, fine views, varied mixed use trails, superb food. I can heartily recommend the route from Holyhead to Chepstow to anyone thinking of undertaking a bicycle tour or even trying cycle touring for the first time. Its such a great country.
