 100% assurance that you are dealing with a dodgy seller that rips off other people's designs based on the sales data that they get from running the marketplace! You might get good customer service if they think it benefits them to keep the charade going. If it disagree that your complaint is valid and you push back, they can disable everything you buy from them (Kindles, Alexas, video streaming, Ring doorbell, computer backup service, ...), like they did to this guy when their delivery driver misheard a recorded greeting.
I have been buying from Amazon for 18 years, in fact i was shopping with Amazon when they sold their original Amazon "Monkey Media" brand never had a problem :)
Any trouble I've ever had with online purchases that haven't been resolved has been with Amazon. I've had trouble with eBay too but always have had a resolution by refund or replacement. ( got stung once away back in the early days of eBay but that was before their buyer protection policies came in )
Nope in 18 years I have never not had a problem resolved, sent TWO faulty items back last month under 12 month guarantee refunded as soon as collected by postman from my home

Who needs twenty little lights? Yet another example of cheap being the primary criteria, when we'd be better served by looking for function.
My camping light was about £25, it clips to the roof of the tent, is bright enough to walk around a pitch black campsite, usable as a cycling back up light clipped to a helmet, headband or bars, runs for 14+ hours on the low setting which I find plenty for a weeks summer camping, can be paired with my Garmin, quickly USB recharges, and quite crucial when camping it's waterproof. I started with a clear idea of what I wanted and wasn't drawn in by Bezos's bargains, I'd say the likelihood of it still being in use when Pinheads twenty are in landfill is high.

You see whilst I may agree you need to "think" things through before commenting on just one point

I live in an "over 55's" road, bungalows, many are 70, 80 years old I am handing these out with plugs as safety night lights, I also give out free hand warmers ever year in case of a power cut so buy a large LOW COST box.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1

Many people will I am sure see the benefit and give them to elderly (ok not all) as safety in home low cost night lights for getting up in the dark, is that a good enough function for you ?

Remember just because people can't be bothered to go into raptures about what they do and why does not mean there are not other benefits, and yes all things we buy from your bike to garmin will be landfill one day

I'm commenting on what you've said, not some justification you decide to add later.

I don't have to justify myself to you nor explain m y purchases in full, if you don't like it tough, I expanded later because of the silly comment someone made ! which in fact had NOTHING to do with the thread, I have had posts deleted for NON thread related shame yours was not, one law for one ? Amazon is literally in the title of the topic, despite it not being an Amazon product.

Pinhead, don't put too much store on other posters opinions if it works for you that's all that matters, you don't have to argue or justify every little point. There are some on here that can argue a black crow white.

Please take a moment to reconsider if this is a good idea. Cheap lights, of questionable quality, plugged into the electrics of an elderly person's home. How would you feel if one caught fire?

They won't be needing the hand warmers if those lights go up. Seriously though, don't you think it's potentially dangerous?
