What's the Weather Like!

Been wet lately in my area (Teesside) Great for the slugs, which I keep popping them with a great crunching sound. although I don't do it on purpose, there are loads on the cycle path, some big ones, some tiny ones when going home in the early hours of the morning.
The other night (mid-night) after a heavy rain-fall, the cycle-path was flooded in 2 parts, up to 8" deep. Probably dog turds floating about too
Anyway the weather looks to be a bit better for the week-end and hopefully for my double coast to coast ride in a weeks time.

Clear and sunny here. Hoping for the rain to clear through quickly tonight so I can beat the club run at their own game tomorrow (usually they only see me on the easy runs).

25 second bursts of sun, then overcast and windy here in Argyll. Threatening to rain in the near future. Feels autumnal already.

Dry - sunny intervals and warm today.
The forecast for Sunday for my area (West Yorks) is light showers, and then back to normal (light rain) for the rest of next week.
Has anyone noticed that the weather keeps tabs on us? If there is a day when, for whatever reason, we can't get out for a good, decent full day's ride (even if one is retired like me) - then that's the day that the weather is perfect for such a ride. Otherwise, when we can get out - well - rain!!!!

And if it's raining, have no regrets.
It isn't raining rain you know,
It's raining ..........................................cats and dogs

Been raining in the early hours here on Teesside, still dull and cloudy. But should clear up later, when I pop out for a bike ride to Great Ayton and back.

Looking promising. Think I'll ride the long way round to pick up this morning's papers.

10.33hrs - Halifax - Sunday 24th August - Rain.
Well, why not, it hasn't stopped all year.
BBC weather site on internet says light cloud, sunny intervals for this precise moment.

10.36hrs - Halifax - Sunday 24th August - absolute cloudburst.
Glad I had a late breakfast before setting out - I'll wait for it to stop. Won't hold my breath though.

Well, been out for a 45 mile cycle ride this morning and the weather was great. Warm and sunny with a slight breeze.
Nice to get out wearing short-sleeved shirt and shorts, not forgetting the sunglasses
