Mirror for BTWIN 500 folding bike

Post by glennie »

Hello everyone
I I hope this post is in the right thread.
I recently bought this bike and I love it but I would like to put a right hand side mirror on the handlebars.
Most of the mirrors I have seen on sites like Amazon seem to be designed for hollow handlebars however the Btwin has "solid" handlebars into which nothing can be inserted.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a mirror that might work for me.

Many thanks and safe cycling!

Hmmm...not really. Bu thanks.

“Solid” is the wrong word. Sorry.
The ends are rubber...one continuous piece about 3 inches long ...with a tiny hole in the centre of the butt end.
Wanted to send photos...can't see how to attach.

I do not know the details of the particular bike, but normally, you just slice off the end of the grip with a knife, and the hollow opens up. I am not saying that you should do it; just indicate that you have the option.
