bipedant
I yam a bipedalist, unless I've forgotten to put a second shoe on, in which case I hop & mutter or, if on a bike, adopt an asymmetric lurching-thrusting action. Is there a single term to describe this syndrome (other than being foolish; or doowally)? I already employ far too many dashes and ampersands, which surely annoys many pedants with a focus on language.

This may be a pedantic point, but I thought it rooted-back to feet too, whereas it doesn’t seem to. It comes from “pedagogy”, as in teaching.

I was going to join the Anarchist's Society until I discovered they had rules.
The trouble with the Anarchist’s Society is that they only have herbal infusions at the meetings.

Forums (sic) such as this should consider Skitt's Law penalties. All proceeds to charity.

There is a big Facebook group called summat like
"People Incorrectly Correcting Other People".
It's good fun sometimes. I doubt they'd have as many members if they'd called it "Skitts Law"

I think you'd like it! :-)

When I lived in Battle East Sussex we had a gentleman's outfitter called Phillips' Man's Shops which was an apostrophe challenge for everyone.

Don't want to appear pedantic, but shouldn't this thread be in the Tea Shop.

Doesn’t work for everyone. Some people are naturally auto-didactic, so they learn best from a Haynes Manual.
