Coloured toe straps: Now solved

I'm not sure why you would want nylon straps - from what I've seen of them they are rather floppy and tend to hold the shoe when pulling out.

Nylon straps are I think, not quite so nice to use as leather ones. They are usually a lot floppier like you say. In fact I think you really need clips with two eyes if you want to have nylon straps. I think the buckles work differently on nylon straps, and that they can stretch differently too. I rode with clips and straps for about 20 years and I didn't ever get on well with nylon straps.

Same for me - only tried nylons once and from then on it was leather only,.... Ooer Missus! :lol:
