Hello! I have a few questions about SA 3-speed hub shell interchangeability.
I have a BWR hub I'm going to use in a larger 650b or 700c wheel. It has 28 holes, which is a bit inconvenient for rim selection. Are the BWR hub guts compatible with other 3 speed shells, so I could possibly swap to one with 32 holes?
Are old-style AW guts compatible with new hub shells?
Assuming the answers to the above are yes, is the shell from SRK3 or any other with a disc brake mount also compatible?
Or more generally, is there a database somewhere listing unofficial parts compatibility?
Related question:
Can I use a regular driver part on the BWR hub instead of the special longer splined carrier? I've heard it's harder to get and I'm not planning to use multiple cogs.
Thank you for any help!

Old style AW inners definitely compatible with SRF3 shell.
Not so sure/need to check on BWR inners in SRF3 shell. Definitely the BWR shell is narrower/ slightly different& AW inners won't go in BWR shell.

yes, in fact you can use the driver from any NIG + toggle chain SA hub.
btw you could always drill a few more holes in your hubshell, although it does make building the wheel a bit trickier.
I have drilled an extra 8 holes into a 28h hub and l laced a 36h rim onto it, too. If you look at the 'alphabetti spoketti' thread it may give you some ideas.
