Map for Rob’s Passage LEJOG
Map for Rob’s Passage LEJOG
Hello. I am currently doingJOGLE. I’m headed into the final stretch. I’m currently in Bridgewater. I’ve been reading about the route through Devon and Cornwall called “Rob’s passage”. Does anyone have a map of this route, or even the GPX files? I’d really appreciate it – I’m finding it very difficult to map it using the verbal description I have found

It’s on Cycle Trravel you’ll need to reverse it.

Re: Map for Rob’s Passage LEJOG
There is a quieter option from Taunton which in my view is much nicer but it’s more complicated:
From Taunton head west on route 3 through Hillfarrance and Nynehead to Wellington. Go through Wellington and take minor roads to Sampford Moor and Nicholashayne. Continue on minor roads to join the Culm valley at Uffculme. At Uffculme join the B3440 to Willand and then the B3181 to Cullompton. Continue on B3181 and about 3miles beyond Cullompton, turn right (signpost Hele and Bradninch) and take the minor road that crosses under the M5. Go through Hele and head towards, but pass just to the south of, Silverton and towards Thorveton where you can rejoin Rob’s Passage.

A man can't have everything.
- Where would he put it all.?.

I'm currently cycling LEJOG and immediately prior to Robs Passage the small road from Credit on was closed....shut firmly with barracades for builders.
Here's my ride, the blockage is around the 54 mile point.Just after the 56 mile point at the crossroads Robs Passage begins.

Blimey! How much of a detour did that cost you?

Sorry JJ, just read your great question. Surprisingly it only added about 30 minutes.....and a lot of stress!
