Another possible answer to those with the PAS sensor fitting issue:
  • I'm using a redundant Swytch motor/700c wheel (aikema 100SX) on my road bike with a 50/34 chainset and the PAS sensor I opted for is a 12 magnet version mounted within the chainset resulting in a neat and discrete installation.
  • My BB uses Campagnolo Power Torque external cup bearings which are close to the size of Hollowtech 2 cup bearings
  • However the magnetic ring is designed to fit 22T chainrings so with the aid of a 3D printer I made a flange adapter and if this is of interest to you, you can see photos of this in the UK pedelec forum HERE
Without my stoker, every trip would only be half a journey
