Mahle My Smartbike app not fully functional.

Hi. I'm new to this forum so please excuse any protocol blunders on my part but I'm wondering if anybody can help with this problem.
I have recently bought a Mondraker Dusty R (3 weeks ago) with the Mahle X20 System. I have downloaded the My Smartbike app latest version from the app store) on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S9+, Bluetooth version 5.0, running Android Version 10 (Quince Tart). The app connects to my e-bike (it says connected and gives me the battery charge level and range, but then displays a banner which states "No Object Found"). What I can do within the app is very limited. I can switch lights on/off, select the level of assistance on switch on and toggle the e shifters. When I try to change the Motor performance Maps I get the following error message, "Could not get engine map settings. Please try again". When I try and change the personalisation, the app returns "could not save the alias settings. When I go into settings, all I can click on is engineering mode It does display SN for the motor, the bike and the battery along with temperature, charge cycle etc information). Is this an issue with the app, the motor or both? I've only had the bike for 3 weeks but this is the first time I have used the app.
