You obviously don't have any bikes with Campagnolo or DT Swiss freehubs, then.. They are very definitely acoustic.
Ha ha - I lied about the freehub racket from me DT Swissers. On the other hand, I like to pedal, mostly, which shuts up the "insane knitting machine" racket. Not downhill, though. Then, I go so fast that the sound of the DT freehub can't keep up.
Of course, as well as my grunts and wheezes, I can make a whooshing noise as I descend the 2 minute downhill before the next 15 minute uphill.
