Thank you, am reviewing private options. Have had some movement from the NHS, not yet the results of 2021

One thing I have not explicitly raised is that OP is likely to need multiple private appointments. With my condition I gained my private experience from there were 3 private consultants (1 brilliant, 1 useless and one sort of OK) but 1st appointment with all 3 was more for them to establish if you are suffering from something they might be able to help with. None offered any answers at the first consultation, just "I could ..." or "We need to ..." on subsequent appointments.
A lot might depend on what patient suffers from (what tests needed to clarify what, where, how badly, etc.) and what patient is seeking (eg "Can I do ...?" or wanting treatment & cure).

mrs ck had an operation last year
total cost if i had to pay myself was around£8000, glad i have private health care through work scheme.
