Bought 2 new continental gatorskin tyres from Tredz put them On when on an 80 mile ride yesterday (1st outing on the tyres)
Felt a bump presumes it was the surface. Both front and back have a bobble in the tyres. The ride feel is terrible
Any idea what it’s is and why? Both front and back thanks
I’ve got a video but no idea how I add that here
Tyres
Re: Tyres
it isn't unknown for people to trap the valve in the inner tube against the rim when fitting tyres. This normally results in a high spot in each affected tyre. The usual cure is to fully deflate the tyres, then push the valve upwards/outwards so that it is no longer trapped by the tyre before reinflating them. It might not be this, but it is easy enough to check.

Re: Tyres
Are the tyres seated evenly on the rims all the way round, especially near the lumps? Also check the rim tape is seated correctly. Are the lumps still visible in the tyres if you take them off the wheel: if so I would say that they were either faulty or have been damaged and I would thinking of asking for a replacement in the former case or binning them in the latter case.

Re: Tyres
Your pictures don't work for me, can you post them again?
Re: Tyres
I've been using gatorskins over a number of years.
I once had one with a defect in the tread thickness - not immediately noticeable until I came to ride it.
That is a possibility - but you would be unlucky to encounter it twice.
Possibly a faulty batch ?
