Good morning.
I recently purchased a s/h Kett, and I love it. It has rear diff and 14 speed hub gears. Feels much faster than my trusty old Anthrotech.
However I am struggling to find a way to mount front lights on it. If you own a Kett, any chance of a photo of how you managed to mount lights? It has non original mudguards by the way.
Kettwiesel head lights?

Welcome
Please could you add some photos of the front end.

Any fork crown mounting should work OK. My Kettwiesel has B+M Dynamo lighting but you can buy mounts to fit battery lights on the fork crown instead, eg https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/lighting-sp ... 4mm-mount/
(That sounds a really nice Kett, I’ve long wished I had a Rohloff on mine! (It does have a diff, makes a real difference on hills compared to my old one wheel drive version)

What hercule says.
On the uprights I prefer this mount to the B+M bent wire. But that's largely to get the light clear of the brake cabling!

Re: Kettwiesel head lights?
I had to compete with Range Rover headlights on unlit country lanes and found the ideal solution.
I mounted a super bright Cree LED light onto a stub of handlebar bolted to the rack mount half way down the front fork. The 2" stub stuck out at right angles to the fork and the light is then fitted using a reinforced handlebar mount - cable ties rather than elastic bands to counter the bouncing from the front wheel.
This puts a wide beam of light at road level allowing me to follow the kerb and spot potholes no matter how bright the oncoming lights. Being a crude Chinese LED light there is plenty of beam width to alert oncoming cars and see everything when there are no oncoming vehicles.
Having said that, on my wife's Kett she uses the standard fork crown mounted BM dynamo lights. These are fine for town and cycle path riding.

Brilliant idea, in the olden days headlamps used to be fitted midway down the front forks. Thank you. PS, forgot to take a photo again today, but did do 25 miles which is a lot for me. Might never walk again mind.
