I was doing a parts order at work from one of my wholesalers (Cycle Division), I saw that they were listing sturmey Archer twist grip levers with Sram click boxes (I assume make by SA), in 5 and 7 speed (5s out of stock).
In 5 speed; -
https://www.thecycledivision.com/produc ... r-sram-p5/
You need a trade account to log in, but the wording says
"Sturmey Archer TSSP5 Twist Shifter
5-Speed
With ‘Click Box’ for SRAM P5
Comes complete with cable attached to both the shifter and the ‘click box’"
In 7 speed : -
https://www.thecycledivision.com/produc ... ox-for-s7/
You need a trade account to log in, but the wording says
"Sturmey Archer TSSS7 Twist Shifter
7-Speed
With ‘Click Box’ for SRAM S7
Comes complete with cable attached to both the shifter and the ‘click box’"
Could be useful for some people, I have no need to order any so can't give more details. I would guess they would be sold at about £30 - 35.
Any decent local bike shop will probably have a Cycle Division account (they do lots of Sturmey Archer spares).
New Sram click boxes from SA
Re: New Sram click boxes from SA
very handy, shame it is still a fundamentally bad idea....do you get a fresh red plastic widget with that?

The red plastic widget is this.

SRAM calls it a Fixierbuchse but some call it a Fixierhülse. It's probably a fitting adaptor or similar in English. It's a bit too delicate for a bike.

I am NOT a cyclist. I enjoy riding a bike for utility, commuting, fitness and touring on tout terrain Rohloff, Brompton ML3 (2004) and Wester Ross 354 plus a Burley Travoy trailer.
