Removing private messages?

My inbox is nearly full and I need to empty it.
I can see the tick box but where is the delete button?

You can delete from within an individual message.

Or you can select one or more messages in the mailbox and then scroll down to the Delete marked option... but it's hidden in a pull-down menu:

Thank you, I don't think I'd ever have found it. It was really hidden.
