Does anyone know who the cartoonist was for a USA(?) cycling magazine. Offer shows a cyclist with a beige cycling cap, very full beard and moustache, riding a traditional bike, not an aluminium or carbon job. The character usually seen wearing a dark brown jumper, whiteish shirt and khaki shorts. Usually making pithy comments on seasons, cycling, etc.?Trying to upload one photo but struggling.

Brilliant sleuthing there. Absolutely correct identification. Thanks so much. M

I am a massive Yehuda Moon fan, owning all the print editions and even a Yehudah Moon look-alike cap!
Unfortunately Rick Smith and his writer Brian Briggs gave up producing the strip as they found it too difficult to make it pay. Happily, all the cartoons remain available at https://yehudamoon.com/
Head for the first one and enjoy. Some of the story lines are at first a bit cryptic but keep going as all becomes clear.

I learnt about the ball bearings under the car valve caps trick off Yehudi Moon cartoon strips, but I have never tried it officer!
Also love the strips with the black ninja cyclists. Such a funny series.
BTW they are all online now somewhere. I found them at work during my break and for the next few weeks I got very little work done as I was reading the back catalogue of those strips!!
