From the track

I've been enjoying the track World Champs from Denmark. Lots of good racing and particularly good to see Katie Archibald back on form.
But particular kudos to Anna Morris for not only winning the stripes but doing it in a minimal luck contest against an in-form Chloe Dygert, as close to a nailed on cert for gold as you could get.
But all a bit overshadowed by news of Sir Chris Hoy's terminal cancer diagnosis with 2-4 years to live. I've not met him personally but being involved with a Scottish junior CC that has a track section I know plenty of folk that have and there's total accord that he's a gentleman and a scholar, absolutely one of the Good Guys
Pete.
