Dolan Tuono tyre clearance

Hi guys, I'm looking at buying a Tuono frameset from Dolan for my summer bike this year and wondered if anyone on here had one? I currently use an RDX for my winter bike and despite Dolan stating a 35mm max tyre size I'm running 40mm with mudguards and there's room for a lot more.

They state that the Tuono can only go up to 32mm but I wonder if that's the same understatement as for the RDX. It would be nice to think I could get my beloved 40mm's in there but it looks tight on the photo's.
