Posting pictures

I am trying to post pictures. I put them in attachments then place them online but when I preview them it comes up as not downloaded yet
Do they download when I submit the post?

Hmmm.... when you attach pictures to a post you're uploading the image files.

They get downloaded when someone else looks at them.

Can you point me towards the post in question?
