Bike trailer you can sleep in

Many years ago I read in a cycling mag about a tandem couple who had built a trailer with a double bed in it. Not only that, it was amphibious & converted to a boat. They had mega-low towing gears on their tandem, & apparently their car-width vehicle caused interesting tail-backs on steep ascents on narrow lanes. Does anyone remember the article, or have a link to it? I think it was written in the early 1980s.
Does anyone know of a modern equivalent trailer?

I've no idea about tandem trailers but maybe you could buy Rosie Swale's
trailer now she's done with it

I met a lovely man in the village of High Easter who once lent me an old Hercules road bike in Accles & Pollock (later TI I believe) tubing who showed me a photograph that he had taken at York Rally in the 1950s IIRC, of a newly wed couple on a tandem towing a tiny caravan made out of aluminium sheet. The rest of the story was that the bride or groom's father had made it for them as a wedding present.
That is all I can recall
