Tour de France 2025

Post by rjb »

Who's watching. Highlights on ITV 4. 7pm but subject to changes so check beforehand.
I watched yesterdays stage on catch up as the first stage highlights were broadcast at 11pm. Past my bedtime. :(
Cracking start so far, hope it carries on in the same vein. :D
That's my entertainment for the next 3 weeks sorted.
Peugeot 531 pro, Dawes Discovery Tandem, Dawes Kingpin X2, Raleigh 20 stowaway, 1965 Moulton deluxe, Falcon K2 MTB dropped bar tourer, Longstaff trike conversion on a Giant XTC 840, Apollo transition. :D

I watched day one highlights on TNT thought I’d selected series link, to find I hadn’t and only found it on ITV X. I searched but have only found Wednesdays highlights again on ITV. Is there no daily highlights programme?

If you are looking for highlights don’t forget about YouTube
Tour de France channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpcpFnle9h4

We’ve been shafted on TNT with adverts or watch a rubbish multi screen. Won’t be renewing when the half price finishes.

Highlight show can be watched any time after transmission on ITVX

https://www.itv.com/watch/tour-de-franc ... ts/10a5559

If you have a Chromecast or similar on a TV you can cast it to that rather than watch on a computer/phone/tablet.

Live it's on ITV4, starts 2:30 today I think.

It’s been a crash fest so far, Ganna, Philipsen out. Remco down but not out.

Another cracking stage today, but I won’t say anymore!

Bit of a dull weekend with 2 sprint stages but there’s been plenty of action this week and Monday should be an excellent stage. I’m not of the “pogacar being there makes it dull” view. If this was sky era they’d be big in the time trial and aiming to have quiet days with no GC action for the rest of the first week.

It was a good’un. I caught the last 500m at work and watched the winner over the line to then switch to the GC group for a “what happened there moment”.

Just watched that piece on the discovery split screen thing which didn’t show the winner going over the line at all! The split screen thing is mostly good but I have noticed in other stages they tend to miss the winner actually winning! Anyway I now think I’ve caught all the relevant parts and it was excellent. Great winner and good and popular yellow jersey outcome.

Even if Pog runs away with it, there is so much other stuff happening in a Grand Tour, how can people find it dull?!?

Can't believe we're basically half-way now; 10 stages done out of 21!
