XL helemt recommendation

Post by Philip_Rogers »

I'm due a new road helmet but need one in a 65cm / XL size. What do those of you with an XL head currently recommend for a MIPS helmet?

Pete.
That list is somewhat out of date. I’ve googled quite a few of them and they either no longer exist or are shown as out of stock.

I’m also in the market for a new helmet, as my Specialized Echelon II is showing its age and they’ve stopped making them. I need one that fits a 63cm head.

I have a 63cm bonce. LBS is a specialised stockist - I recently bought what the label tells me is an "Align II" in xl, which whilst rated at 59-62, fits me with room to spare.

But you need to try IMO

Yes, I did try on an Align in Evans a couple of weeks ago, but it didn’t seem to fit very well, not as well as my Echelon, anyway.
