I am thinking of selling my old mountain bike to go towards a road bike later in the year.
But I was wondering do bikes sell for a better price with the accessories included or do cyclists generally prefer to buy their own new? By accessories I mean the cycle computer, mudguards, lights and so on that weren't part of the original specs or would I be better off selling everything individually? Thanks for any help.

Strip the bike down and sell the individual parts on ebay. You will probably get much more than you would selling it as a bike.
