Saddle bag support
Does anyone have a bag support like the one in the photo in very good condition that they are prepared to part with?
Many thanks
Many thanks
Re: Saddle bag support
Only fair condition - see pictures, it cost me £10, but didnt fit my bike. I'd post it for £14 if it's any good for you, or pick up in Skelmersdale.
The two rivets holding the seat stay part to the support are slightly loose, more so on one, they're only pop rivets (blind hole) so an easy fix if you were bothered by the play.Click on the pictures for sharper image.
Edit, I just noticed a crack on one of the seat stay clamps
. Visible in 3rd image, it might repair with araldite but wouldn't do for a smart bike, picture of damage added.

Thanks colin54. That´s exactly what I was after but unfortunately not in that condition. It looks like most of it would clean up but not the crack. Very sorry... Alex

Re: Saddle bag support
I have one in very good condition, no damage. It's called a Lloyd support.
Can be collected from near Boroughbridge, 5 miles east of the A1M[img][/img]

Re: Saddle bag support
Update in case anyone thinks I have got sorted.
A nice item offered above but collection only means a £40 plus petrol cost to collect a £20 item so declined.
It means I am still looking,
Many thanks... Alex

Re: Saddle bag support
Thanks martin. I prefer the design of the Brooks one but I think the other one will clean up better, especially if the clamps are aluminium.
Please PM me with price, including postage for the unknown branded one.
Many thanks... Alex

Re: Saddle bag support
Hi Martin,
Received the support earlier and spent the rest of the morning cleaning it up. As you thought it's cleaned up well. It now looks like this.
Many thanks... Alex
